Stockholm - A Swedish court Friday remanded two men into custody on suspicion of involvement in a daring helicopter heist at a cash depot on the outskirts of Stockholm last month. The two, aged 30 and 31, were arrested Wednesday. Both men have denied the allegations.
Thieves used a stolen helicopter and explosives to raid the G4S cash depot in the Stockholm suburb of Vastberga September 23, entering the building via a roof window.
Three other men have been in custody since last month including a 34-year-old man alleged to have flown the helicopter that was found abandoned in a field several hours after the raid.
G4S has offered a reward of 1 million dollars for information leading to any arrests, but has not disclosed the value of the stolen cash.
Police have said at least 10 people took part in the heist.
