St. Paul (AP) - US conglomerate 3M reported Thursday that it is recovering from the economic crisis faster than expected. The company earned 957 million dollars in the third quarter of 2009, slightly less than a year ago, but more than its second quarter earnings of 783 million dollars.
Third quarter revenues amounted to 6.2 billion dollars, announced
the company, based in St Paul, in the US state of Minnesota.
The company's display, graphics and health care businesses performed particularly well according to its report.
