Berlin - British singer Robbie Williams is to hold a surprise mini-concert in Berlin on Friday, his record company said Thursday. EMI Germany said the pop star would perform five songs at the Pop-Up Gig in the 11,000-capacity Max Schmeling Hall.

The concert begins at 4 pm (1400 GM) and entry is free, EMI Germany said.

On Tuesday, the 35-year-old singer launched a comeback in London after a three-year break.

Williams has sold more than 50 million albums and forged a successful solo career since leaving boyband Take That.
