Amman - Visiting Czech Defence Minister Martin Bartak conferred on Sunday with Jordanian leaders on the prospects of boosting cooperation particularly on defence and economic issues. Bartak, who doubles as deputy prime minister, held separate meetings with King Abdullah II and Prime Minister Nader Dahabi.
His talks with the monarch, which were also attended by the Chief of the Joint Staff of the Jordanian armed forces General Khalid Sarayreh, tackled "bilateral cooperation and means of boosting it in various spheres, particularly the defence field", a royal court statement said.
