Los Angeles - Lindsay Lohan had her three-year probation extended for one year Friday after failing to complete treatment programmes imposed for her 2007 drunk-driving case. In a court appearance for which the actress, 23, arrived an hour late, her lawyers said that she did not complete the alcohol treatment because she was filming out of state. The judge, Marsha N Revel, warned Lohan that she must get court approval to leave Los Angeles for work, and that further violations of her parole terms could lead to jail time.
Celebrity website TMZ.com reported that Lohan had attended less than half of the classes she is required to take under her probation requirements.
"This is the last time we will be talking about re-enrolling," the judge said. "Anytime you request a leave of absence for more than 21 days, you must get court approval. If you don't do that, the deputy district attorney will be asking for jail time."
