Madrid - European Champions League titleholders Barcelona announced on Thursday that French striker Thierry Henry will be out of action for around 10 days. Henry, 32, tore the femoral biceps muscle in his right leg in France's 3-1 defeat of Austria on Wednesday after scoring the second goal.
The veteran forward has suffered a series of muscle injuries this season and has so far not scored a single goal for Barca in the Primera Division.
The good news for Barca is that Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Xavi are both fit for Saturday's game away to Valencia.
Ibrahimovic took a heavy knock on the right knee in Sweden's 4-1 win over Albania on Wednesday but has sustained no serious damage.
Xavi, for his part, missed Spain's match away to Bosnia on Wednesday because of pain in the right knee but will be ready to play by Saturday.
Barca are three points clear of Real Madrid and Sevilla at the top of La Liga after winning their first six matches.
