Germany grants Jordan a further 12 million euros in aid

Amman - Jordan and Germany on Saturday signed three agreements under which the German government is to extend a grant of 12.24 million euros (18 million dollars) to finance water and education projects in Jordan, an official statement said. Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Suhair al-Ali, who signed the accords on behalf of Jordan, told reporters that the grant raised to 17.7 million euros Germany's contribution to the development of water and education projects in Jordan this year. She said that Germany was one of the major donors in developing water resources in Jordan.
