London - Arsenal marched into the top four in the English Premier League on Sunday after they thumped Blackburn Rovers 6-2 at the Emirates Stadium. Blackburn led twice but Arsenal roared to an impressive victory with five goals in an hour as they leapfrogged Liverpool into fourth.
Liverpool can regain fourth spot later on Sunday if they avoid defeat at Chelsea.
Steven Nzonzi gave Blackburn a shock lead on four minutes but Thomas Vermaelen equalized (17) only for David Dunn to restore Blackburn's lead on the half-hour mark.
But from then on it was all Arsenal and goals from Robin van Persie, Andrey Arshavin, Cesc Fabregas, Theo Walcott and Nicklas Bendtner - the last the pick of the bunch - sealed a comprehensive victory for Arsene Wenger's side.
West Ham were playing Fulham and Everton were taking on Stoke City in the day's other matches.
