Istanbul - The International Monetary Fund's Managing Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn said Sunday that the world's economic crisis could be over within a year. Strauss-Kahn linked an end to the crisis with a drop in unemployment, which has continued to rise in the world's advanced economies even as they are pulling out of recession.
Strauss-Kahn said he believed unemployment would begin falling in 10-12 months, at which time "the crisis will be behind us."
