Los Angeles - Rapper Kanye West has cancelled his North American tour with Lady Gaga in the aftermath of his widely condemned humiliation of country star Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards last month. No reason was given for the cancellation of the Fame Kills tour which had been due to run from November through January. But West has stated that he needed a break to reevaluate his approach following the embarrassing awards show incident.
He has also sought time off to deal with the death of his mother last year. Other reports said that the tour had been cancelled because of low advance ticket sales and discord between the West and Gaga camps.
