Washington - Tiger Woods has become the first sportsman to earn more than a billion dollars, according to a report in Forbes magazine. The 14-time major winner reached the financial milestone courtesy of the 10-million-dollar bonus he received for winning the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup title last weekend. According to Forbes, the 33-year-old American began the season on 895 million dollars and has accumulated his fortune by means of prize money, endorsements, appearance fees and his golf course design business.
