Madrid - Little Andres Iniesta has been recalled to the Spain squad on Friday, after being out of action for three months. The dynamic midfielder missed the Confederations Cup in June with a torn thigh muscle, and has only recently returned to action for Barcelona.
Spain manager Vicente del Bosque has named Iniesta in his squad for the last two World Cup qualifying matches, against Armenia (October 10) and Bosnia-Herzegovina (October 14).
Spain have already qualified for the World Cup finals - it will be their ninth successive finals appearance - because they have won all eight of the Group Five matches so far.
The squad named by Del Bosque is as follows:
GOALKEEPERS: Casillas (Real Madrid), Jose Reina (Liverpool), Diego Lopez (Villarreal)
DEFENDERS: Raul Albiol (Real Madrid), Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid), Carles Puyol (Barcelona), Carlos Marchena (Valencia), Gerard Pique (Barcelona), Joan Capdevila (Villarreal), Nacho Monreal (Osasuna), Andoni Iraola (Athletic Bilbao)
MIDFIELDERS: Andres Iniesta (Barcelona), Xavi (Barcelona), Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal), Xabi Alonso (Real Madrid), Santi Cazorla (Villarreal), Albert Riera (Liverpool), Sergio Busquets (Barcelona), Marcos Senna (Villarreal)
FORWARDS: David Silva (Valencia), David Villa (Valencia), Fernando Torres (Liverpool), Juan Mata (Valencia), Daniel Güiza (Fenerbahce).
The only player who will be missing through injury is Real Madrid defender Alvaro Arbeloa, who has been replaced with Bilbao's Iraola.
