Tel Aviv - US film director Quentin Tarantino, not content with providing fodder to Israeli film critics with his latest movie Inglourious Basterds, is also providing fodder to Israeli gossip columnists. The 46-year-old, who made his first-ever visit to Israel recently, left the country with an Israeli girlfriend, 25-year-old singer Daniela Pick. Pick is the daughter of Israeli singer and songwriter Tzvika Pick, also known locally as the Maestro, is one of the country's most enduring entertainers. His song Diva, performed by Israeli transsexual singer Dana International, won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1998. Israeli media Thursday showed Tarantino and the black-haired Daniela holding hands at a screening of the movie Whip It earlier this week. According to Israel's biggest-selling Yediot Ahronot tabloid, the two met at a dinner in a Tel Aviv restaurant, after which he joined her to a local club, from where they later on continued to his hotel. She has since joined him on his promotion tour to Rome and Frankfurt, and to his Los Angeles home, Yediot said.
