Sydney - Olympic gold medallist Jodie Henry announced her retirement from swimming Wednesday. The 25-year-old Australian was one of the stars of the 2004 Athens Olympics, winning three gold medals and setting a world record in the 100-metres freestyle. She won gold in the 100-metres freestyle at the 2005 World Championships in Montreal and at one point held the Olympic, World Championship and Commonwealth crowns in the 100-metres freestyle. She missed the 2008 Beijing Olympics through injury.
