Sydney - Australians, who like to be world champions in everything, Tuesday got in the record books for dancing around like robots. Melbourne University dance group the Robogals got 318 people together for a mass robotic dancing session. Some got into the spirit of things and dressed in tin foil.
The initiative, which aimed at encouraging more women to take up engineering and computer science courses, was also inspired by a desire to beat the English.
The Robogals took the record from Britain's University of Kent, which had got into the Guinness Book of World Records by assembling 276 students together for a robot bop.
