Rome - An unconvincing Juventus Sunday missed the chance to go top in the Serie A as minnows Bologna snatched a 1-1 draw through a last-gasp goal from Brazilian veteran Adailton. Juve now are one point adrift of 15-point leaders Sampdoria, who are on 15 points after beating champions Inter Milan 1-0 on Saturday. Also on Saturday, Fiorentina beat Livorno 1-0 to go level with Inter on 13.
At Turin's Stadio Olimpico, Juve were in control of the game from the start and hammered Bologna with drives from Brazil's Amauri and Frenchman David Trezeguet that goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano managed to keep out.
Luck did not help the goalkeeper on 24 minutes when he could not grab a deflected drive from veteran defender Jonathan Zebina and was helpless on Trezeguet's winning flick.
Minor threats for the Turin hosts came from efforts by Marco Di Vaio, an ex-Juve striker who was last season's second best scorer on 24 goals, and Andrea Raggi.
Trezeguet squandered from close range off a delicious feed from the inspired Diego on 39 minutes, but the second half was embarrassing for Juve, who produced countless imperfect passes and ran serious risks from the piercing counter attacks of the guests.
A spurt from Di Vaio was saved on the goal line by Giorgio Chiellini before Adailton fired high after a great save from Gianluigi Buffon.
Mauro Camoranesi could have sealed Juve's win eight minutes from the end as he nodded against the post, a mistake that proved deadly for Juve when Adailton volleyed home from close range in injury time.
Udinese on Sunday beat Genoa 2-0 for an 11-point tally, with Antonio Di Natale opening the scoring to notch his eighth goal this season.
Cagliari also won 2-0 away to surprising newcomers Parma, who are still well positioned on 10 points next to Genoa, and Roma managed a late equalizer in a 1-1 draw at Catania.
Lazio and Palermo also drew 1-1, Atalanta notched their second point from a 1-1 draw at Chievo, and Napoli edged Siena 2-1 through a brace from Slovak Marek Hamsik.
Struggling big guns AC Milan are now on eight points as they followed Juve and Inter in cutting a poor figure late Sunday as promoted Bari held them to a scoreless draw at the Giuseppe Meazza.
