Madrid - European champions Barcelona announced on Wednesday that striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be out of action for around a week, with a lightly sprained right ankle. Ibrahimovic, 27, sprained the ankle in Tuesday's 4-1 romp away to Racing Santander, and was substituted in the 53rd minute.
He will miss Saturday's league game away to Malaga, but could be fit in time for Tuesday's Champions League clash at home to Dynamo Kiev.
Ibrahimovic, 27, scored the first goal in Santander and has scored in all four of Barca's league games so far.
Barca are top of La Liga with 12 points from four games. Real Madrid and Athletic Bilbao will stay level with them if they manage to win away to Villarreal and Tenerife on Wednesday.
