Leverkusen, Germany - Werder Bremen will be without playmaker Mesut Ozil for Sunday's Bundesliga clash with Bayer Leverkusen because of a knee injury. The 20-year-old German international is also likely to miss Wednesday's Cup clash against St Pauli Hamburg, with Bremen coach Thomas Schaaf saying Saturday it depends on how the knee reacts to treatment.
"We can't make any prognosis at this stage," said Schaaf, who is likely to replace the German international with Aaron Hunt.
Leverkusen, meanwhile, could be without Brazilian Renato Augusto, who is also nursing a knee problem.
