Sydney - A New Zealander described as a one-woman crime wave who has lived in Australia since she was in nappies is back in her homeland after being deported because of her criminal history and likelihood of reoffending. Patricia Carol Toia, 31, left Sydney on a chartered jet this week in the company of three security guards and two government officials, an Immigration Department spokeswoman said Friday.
"She was removed via a charter flight aircraft because airlines indicated that they were unwilling to carry her on a commercial flight," she said.
Toia, who arrived in Australia before her second birthday, has been jailed 30 times for robbery, assault and drug dealing. In prison, she committed another 56 offences, including assault.
Despite never holding a driving licence, she committed enough traffic offences to warrant being kept off the roads until 2060.
