Los Angeles - The Beatles are top of the US charts once again. Four decades after their prime, the Fab Four sold 626,000 copies of their newly reissued and remastered albums in the week ending September 13, according to figures released Wednesday by tracking firm Nielsen Soundscan. The classic Abbey Road album from 1969 was the top seller with 89,000 copies sold. It was followed by Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band with 74,000 sales, and The White Album with 60,000 sales. Rubber Soul sold 58,000 copies, while Revolver notched up 46,000 in sales.

The boxed sets of the entire Beatles catalog also did well. The stereo version with 13 CDs sold 26,000 copies and the mono version sold 12,000 copies.
