London - On turning 25 next week, Britain's Prince Harry is set to become a good deal richer inheriting 6.5 million pounds (10.7 million dollars) from the estate left by his late mother, Princess Diana. Harry, third in line to the throne, was just two weeks away from his 13th birthday when his mother was killed in a car crash in Paris on August 31, 1997. He will turn 25 on September 15.

His elder brother, William, was left the same amount from Diana's total estate of 21 million pounds, of which 8 million pounds were swallowed up by inheritance tax.

The royal household said it would not discuss Harry's "private financial arrangements."

However, it was thought unlikely that the bachelor prince, who mixes his army career with a party lifestyle, would touch the money for the time being.
