Ingolstadt, Germany - As part of its centenary celebrations this year, Audi is honouring the 1980s rally era and those of its competitors in a special exhibition at the factory museum. Running until October 31, the twelve rally cars include the 1983 quattro Rallye A1 Group B, with an output of 340 hp dating from 1983 and once driven by Michele Mouton. The "flying Finn" Hannu Mikkola won the world rally championship in the same car that year.

German rally driving legend Walter Roehrl's Audi Sport quattro Rallye Group B with 420 hp from 1984 is also on display.

Eight competing cars round off the exhibition, including the Peugeot 205 Turbo, Renault R5 Turbo, an MG Metro 6R4 and Lancia's Delta S4 and 037 Rallye.
