London - Croatia playmaker Niko Kranjcar passed a medical on Tuesday as he completed his move from Portsmouth to Tottenham Hotspur. A fee of 2.5million pounds (4million dollars) is understood to have been agreed.
The Croatia playmaker who was already at Spurs, Luka Modric, suffered a broken leg against Birmingham City last week and is likely to be out for at least six weeks.
Kranjcar would represent an obvious replacement for him.
