Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium - Toyota's Jarno Trulli led the way in a rain-affected first practice Friday for Sunday's Formula One Belgium Grand Prix. Trulli posted a fastest lap of one minute 49.675 seconds before rain arrived at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit to affect the times of most other drivers.
Brawn's Jenson Button (1:50.283) was second with Renault's Fernando Alonso (1:50.368) third.
A second practice session will be held in the afternoon. Qualifying on Saturday will determine grid positions for the race.
Button leads the championship on 72 points with team-mate Rubens Barrichello on 54, Red Bull's Mark Webber on 51.5 and team-mate Sebastian Vettel on 47.
