Paris - Two out of three French people would abolish school- free Wednesdays for elementary-level pupils, according to a survey published on Thursday in the newspaper Le Parisien. Introducing lessons on Wednesdays would remove the problem many parents experience of arranging child care on Wednesdays. It would also lower the daily workload of the pupils.

Last year, the government abolished school on Saturdays.
