Paris - The French car maker Renault is offering a Grand Tour estate wagon version of the Megane with more carrying capacity, sportier lines and the same front-end styling of the hatchback with lines swooping from the windscreen and converging onto the logo in the centre of the bonnet. Measuring 4.56 metres in length and 1.80 metres in width, the Grand Tour offers a luggage volume of 524 litres that can be extended to 1,595 litres by folding back the rear seat. Access to the boot is facilitated by the low sill height of 561mm. Customers have the choice of two GPS navigation systems and a list of high-tech extras. The engine line-up includes four petrol engines in the range 81 kW/110 hp to 132 kW/180 hp and four diesel power units starting from the 66 kW/90 hp unit to the 118 kW/160 version. Prices for the Megane Grand Tour start at 18,950 euros (27,070 dollars).
