Ingolstadt, Germany - Audi has updated its high-end navigation system with high resolution graphics on a six inch screen and a muchfaster route calculation. Costing between 2,270(3,177 dollars) and 2,565 euros (3,600 dollars) the extra is available for the A3, TT and R8 super sports car. In the R8 it can be combined with a rear-view camera. Graphics from the park-assist are superimposed on the live image from the camera.
Apart from a traffic lane guidance system, a topographic map view allows vertical and horizontal scrolling along the route.
