Paris - The French government is preparing for an increase in the number of cases of the H1N1 influenza, also known as swine flu, buy purchasing 100 million doses of vaccine, the daily Le Parisien reported Thursday. The cost of the vaccine, which will be purchased from four pharmaceutical companies, is estimated at 700 million dollars (976 million dollars).

Delivery of the vaccines will begin on September 15, the time when many experts fear the number of case will begin to grow again.

There have been 403 cases of swine flu in France since the epidemic began in April.
