Medvedev to meet Merkel in Germany on July 16

Moscow - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev is to meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel at a bilateral summit in Germany next week, Interfax news agency reported. The two leaders will met on July 16 at the Castle Schliessheim in Bavaria, as part of the annual "Petersburg Dialogue" programme. That dialogue will also see other members of both governments participate. The talks were launched in the Russian city of St Petersburg in 2001.
