Nairobi - US President Barack Obama is to broadcast core sentences from his anticipated speech on his government's Africa policy live via text message from the Ghanian capital Accra to Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa as well as Ghana, Kenyan media reported Wednesday. According to Kenya's Daily Nation newspaper, people in these four countries will be able to send questions and comments by SMS directly to Obama, the first US president with African roots.
Obama's response to individual questions will primarily be broadcast over local radio.
Obama is to arrive in the West African nation of Ghana on Friday after leaving the G8 summit in Italy.
