Pretoria - A South African rail company is offering holidaymakers a 28-day trip across Africa by land, sea and air.
The trip from Cape Town to Cairo is organised by Pretoria-based Rovos Rail. Travellers visit seven countries in nine stages by train, ship and airplane.
Sights along the way include Victoria Falls, the island of Zanzibar, the Serengeti and the temple of Abu Simbel in Egypt.

Low cost hotel accommodation in Taipei
Frankfurt - Travellers to the Far East who are planning a stopover in Taipei can stay in accommodation for just 1.40 dollars a night.
From July there will be several low-cost hotels operating in the Taiwanese capital in cooperation with China Airlines and Eva Air, the island's tourism authorities have said.
Bookings can be made through the holiday operator Derour and Lastminute.com. However, there are only a limitednumber of beds available at the super low price.
Wine tasting trip to New Zealand
Frankfurt - German tour operator Cruising Reisen has put together a new 10-day trip to New Zealand's wine making region that will appeal to gourmet travellers.
The trip begins in Auckland on the North Island and includes the wine regions of Napier and Waiarapa.
The cost of the tour starts at 3,000 dollars per person including accommodation, meals, a rented car and the flight from the North to South island.
