London - A nine-year-old girl in London and a man and a young girl in northern England have died of swine flu, health officials said Monday. The deaths bring to seven the total number of people in Britain who have succumbed to the H1N1 virus, three of them children, a teenager and three adults.
The authorities said a man and a girl died in the northern county of Yorkshire, and in London, a nine-year-old girl fell victim to the virus.
The number of diagnosed cases in Britain stood at 7,447 in Britain Monday, of which 1,217 were in Scotland.
