Paris - One victim of a Friday French train crash continued to cling to life in a hospital Saturday as investigators and rescue crew continued to pore over the crash site. The collision Friday evening near the town of Limoges, between a passenger train carrying 450 people and a hay transporter left 13 injured, five of them seriously enough to be hospitalized, according to French authorities.
The train was headed from Paris to Cahors in south-western France. The hay transporter's trailer had apparently tipped over before the accident, for unknown reasons.
The engine and two cars jumped the track in the accident, which led to serious delays throughout the French rail network.
