London - Wolverhampton Wanderers completed the signing of Greg Halford from Sunderland for an undisclosed fee on Friday. Halford, who can play as a full-back or provide cover in midfield or centre-forward, has signed a three-year deal.
He becomes the club's third signing of the week, following striker Kevin Doyle and midfielder Andrew Surman.
"It is going to be an exciting season for the club going into the Premier League and hopefully we can push on and establish ourselves in the division," Halford told the club website.
"Wolves are obviously a big club and the infrastructure is all there.
"There's a great training ground, great stadium and a large fanbase and all the plans are in place for Wolves to really establish themselves."
