Amsterdam -A Dutch team has fulfilled a dream by building its own super sports car, the Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS, fitted with a supercharged Corvette ZR1 engine with an output of 679 hp and a top speed of 330 km/h. Dutch designer Emile Pop made the first sketches of his own dream car in 2001 and began building a first prototype in 2003 but had to bury the idea because he failed to find investors for the project. However, two years later he met Justin De Boer who was immediately convinced by the two-man team, last year establishing the Bewerp Inc. company.

The idea was to build the first roadster coupe seating four people with a design inspired by a cat, a bull and a snake to provide enjoyable and a super fast travelling experience. The rear passengers enter the cockpit via so-called suicide doors opening backwards and upward.

Interior design cues have been taken from luxury yachts with an interface navigation, MP3 -Radio, TV and computer on board. A champagne cooler is positioned between the two rear seats. Access to the car is provided with a special watch that also serves as a key.

A first production run of 20 vehicles is scheduled for next year. Orders can be placed for a deposit of 65,000 euros (90,000 dollars) with the total price set at 288,000 euros (400,000 dollars) excluding tax.
