Bremen - Tim Borowski appears set to return to Bundesliga club Werder Bremen as the Germany midfielder is no longer wanted by Bayern Munich, a news report said on Monday. Borowski, 29, left Bremen for Munich two years ago but has rarely been a starter there. He can look for another club and told the Kreiszeitung Syke paper that he has already met with Bremen sports director Klaus Allofs.
"We had a first meeting which went well. The issue is very interesting for me," said Borowski.
Allofs said: "It is no secret that we are looking for a few changes. Tim could be one solution."
The German cup winners Bremen lost Brazilian playmaker Diego to Italian club Juventus and are in need of another midfielder.
