Rome - Italian champions Inter Milan want to beef up their ranks with Chelsea's Portuguese players Deco and Ricardo Carvalho, club president Massimo Moratti told La Gazzetta dello Sport Monday. Moratti said that "at the end of the market (Inter) will be at the same level of the Galacticos (Real Madrid)."
The arrival of Carvalho, 31, from Chelsea could be a matter of days, with the English side welcoming Argentine Nicolas Burdisso, 27, also a defender, in a swap with no or little money involved.
Deco, a 31-year-old play maker who like Carvalho was coached by Inter's Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho, has himself expressed interest in moving to the Milan club.
Moratti added that both he and Mourinho like Didier Drogba, a 31-year-old Ivory Coast striker at Chelsea since 2004, and ruled out the departure of disgruntled Brazil defender Douglas Maicon, 27.
