Los Angeles - Actor John Travolta is returning to work following the death of his son Jett in January but is still struggling to deal with the harrowing incident, according to co-star Denzel Washington. The two are set to work together on a remake of the action movie, The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3, and spoke earlier this month.
"Needless to say he's struggling," Washington said. "More than talking to him I listened to him for about two to three hours." There was little he could do, said Washington, apart from "just be there as a friend because he's such a sweet, sweet person."
The chronically ill Jett died in January at the family's vacation home in the Bahamas after suffering a seizure.

Conan O'Brien takes over Tonight Show after 17 years of Leno
Los Angeles - Comedian Conan O'Brien debuted as host of The Tonight Show Monday night after Jay Leno ended his 17-year-run as host of the primetime chat show.
The 46-year-old funnyman was previously host of the NBC network's late night show in New York and his debut featured a skit that saw him running across the country to his new studio in Los Angeles only to realize upon arrival that he had forgotten the keys.
"I think I have timed this move perfectly," he said in his opening monologue. "I'm on a last-place network, I moved to a state that's bankrupt and The Tonight Show is sponsored by General Motors."
Leno is not giving up on the chat show format and will debut an earlier evening show on NBC sometime in September.

Bruno-Eminem incident at MTV awards was staged, screenwriter says
Los Angeles - The screenwriter of the MTV Movie Awards show has revealed that the infamous stunt between Sacha Baron Cohen and Eminem was staged and had the rapper's full consent and participation.
The stunt saw Baron Cohen in the guise of his gay character Bruno fly over the auditorium on a wire and in an apparent accident land upside down on Eminem, with his bare buttocks right in the rapper's face. Eminem's bodyguards roughly removed the actor and then escorted Eminem as he stormed out of the theatre.
The video of the incident became an instant internet hit, but Scott Aukerman, who says he was the head comedy writer for the awards show, said on his blog that "the Bruno/Eminem incident was staged," explaining "they rehearsed it at dress and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show."
