Berlin - Strikers Marko Pantelic and Andriy Voronin are to leave Hertha Berlin, it was confirmed Sunday. Serb Pantelic's contract at the Bundesliga has expired and the 30-year-old striker made it clear at Sunday's general assembly that he had played his last game after four years at the club.
"I hope Hertha can reach what I couldn't - the Champions League," he said.
The future of Pantelic, who scored 45 goals in 113 league games for Hertha, remained unclear, while on-loan Voronin was set to return to Liverpool.
However the future of the 30-year-old Ukrainian is also uncertain, with British media reports saying he is among players Liverpool would like to sell.
Hertha missed out on qualification for the Champions League after a 4-0 defeat at relegated Karlsruhe, leaving them fourth to earn a place in the play-off round for the new Europa League competition.
