Zurich - The president of football's world body FIFA Joseph Blatter on Tuesday dismissed speculation that he had a personal disagreement with the president of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) John Fahey. In a statement issued by FIFA after a telephone conversation between the two, FIFA said that the issue of doping will feature at its upcoming congress in Nassau (Bahamas).

"There is no personal disagreement between us. We fundamentally agree on the measures to be taken to combat doping and promote clean sport. FIFA has ratified the World Anti-Doping Code.

"A number of points specifically related to team sports remain to be defined, but that is all," Blatter said.

FIFA and WADA have been at logger-heads over a WADA rule that stipulated that athletes have to be permanently accessible for doping controls.
