Hong Kong - Hong Kong officials on Saturday night detained two people who were on board a flight with a teacher and two students who went on to test positive for the swine flu virus in Japan. A government spokesman said the two are among a group of 13 passengers being sought who flew on the same Northwest Airlines flight to Tokyo from Canada on May 8 with the teacher and students and then took onward flights to other Asian destinations.

The two were tracked down Saturday after the World Health Organization notified governments of the flu cases in Japan. One of them was found by Hong Kong health officials at a Tsim Sha Tsui hotel after arriving Friday night.

The second was picked up as he arrived at the airport from Taiwan Saturday evening. So far neither have shown symptoms of the H1NI virus.

The quarantining of the two comes just a day after more than 240 hotel guests were released from a seven-day quarantine at the Hong Kong's Metropark Hotel where a fellow guest, a Mexican tourist who stayed there briefly, was confirmed to have the virus.

In Japan, health officials have quarantined more than 30 people who travelled with the teacher and two students who were discovered to have a fever and other symptoms when health officials boarded the plane for a health check in Tokyo.
