Madrid - Champions Cup finalists Barcelona announced on Friday evening that veteran striker Thierry Henry will be out of action for around two weeks. Henry, 31, suffered a badly bruised right knee in Barca's historic 6-2 win away to Real Madrid last Saturday, and missed Wednesday's last-gasp 1-1 draw away to Chelsea, which qualified Barca for the Euro final.
The French hitman - who scored two goals against Real and was in good form - is hoping to be fit for the May 27 Champions final in Rome against holders Manchester United.
Henry will miss Sunday's home game against Vuillarreal, in which Barca could clinch the Spanish Liga title, and next Wednesday's King's Cup final against Athletic Bilbao in Valencia.
Barca coach Josep Guardiola will probably cover up for the loss of Henry by moving Andres Iniesta, the goal-scoring hero against Chelsea, out of midfield and into attack.
