Los Angeles - Hugh Jackman is already working on a sequel to his hit movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which earned a solid 85 million dollars at its recent debut weekend in the United States. Trade paper Variety said that the sequel is only one of a handful of projects under development at Jackman's Seed production company.

He is also planning to star in the movie Personal Security as a tough New York detective who is forced to act as bodyguard for a spoiled heiress. He is also developing the movie Drive about a race driver who moonlights as a getaway driver. Jackman is keeping busy on the musical scene too, working on a revival of the Rogers and Hammerstein classic Carousel.

The Australian actor is not forgetting his theatrical roots either, and is eyeing the title role in a Broadway production of the musical Houdini.
