Actress Jennifer Aniston has both confirmed and thwarted rumors about her nose job at the same time. The 38-year-old actress, in an interview to a leading celebrity magazine, admitted she underwent surgery for her nose but said it was for a medical reason and not a cosmetic one.

“It's funny. I had (a deviated septum) fixed – best thing I ever did. I slept like a baby for the first time in years,” she said in the interview. Aniston also laughed at rumors of a breast augmentation surgery. “As far as all the other (rumors), as boring as it sounds, it's still mine. All of it. Still mine. Short of letting everybody have a feel, I don't know what else to do. I really am pretty happy with what God gave me,” she added.

Rumors of Aniston's cosmetic surgeries began after she was spotted in Los Angeles stepping out of a cosmetic surgeon's office in January. But her publicist clarified that the Friends actress' visit was related to a procedure to 'correct a deviated septum that was incorrectly done over 12 years ago'. In spite of the clarification, rumor mills went abuzz that she had shaped her nose through surgery.

Pictures of Aniston in low-cut ensembles featuring an impressive cleavage added further fuel to the fire, attaching breast implants rumors to the nose job ones. Both were laughed off by the actress in the interview, as was the controversy over her alleged steaming lesbian kiss with former Friends co-star and good friend Courteney Cox in the latter's FX show Dirt. In the show, Aniston plays a lesbian editor of a magazine.

According to the actress, the kiss wasn't half as steamy as it was being made out to be. “It's a goodbye kiss. I don't honestly think people want to see Rachel and Monica have at it,” she said, and added that the two friends knew a controversy would break out over the kiss. “I think I won a bet. I said to Courteney, 'How many days will it take to come out? 'Lesbian kiss! Lip-lock!' It was a record, about a week,” Aniston said to the magazine.

Controversy or not, Aniston admitted that she had a blast working with Cox again after Friends. “We had a ball. It was completely fun. I forgot just how much fun we have together in the work world,” she said.

The episode starring Aniston will hit the airwaves on March 27.

I was honestly surprised and shook my head in disbeleif when I heard of a lesbian kiss, but i'm much more comforted to learn that my idol is not stooping down to shallowness, and that it is just a sisterly good-bye kiss between friends...for her acting career. As for the bady rumors... good for Jen, she really is a great humannitarian and social, and self-respectful being... one-of-a-kind !!!
