BROCKWORTH, England, Jan. 29 An English mother says her 8-year-old daughter was fed bread and water and an overripe banana at school because she did not have her lunch money. Michelle Williams told the Daily Mail she got a telephone call from Castle Hill Primary School in Brockworth, Gloucestershire, and promised to bring the 3.50-pound (almost $7) fee. But by the time she got there she found her daughter had already been forced to sit with friends while they ate hot meals and she chewed on bread. I was quite upset, Courtney Williams said. I had to sit and watch everyone else eat proper meals and I just had some bread and an old banana with a black skin.Michelle Williams, a single mother, has applied for free meals for her daughter, but the application is still being processed, the newspaper said. my daughter was a pupil at castle hill school at the time of the 'bread and water' incident, the teaching was sub-standard. my daughter woke up crying every day, she didn't want to go to school as she was being bullied. i told the school and headmistress many, many times, they were very dismissive, they said of the boy responsible it was 'his way' and requested that the children show him a thumbs down and said 'bad' when he attacked them! the school failed me on this, and other issues of confidentiality, so severe that, should i wish, i have valid grounds to sue them. since my daughter moved to the other local school, her whole persona has become bright and free again, just as she was before the tortures of castle hill. it was the best decision i have ever made, and i hope others who are unhappy with the school, may also have the strength to do this, beleive me, it is worth it.
