Los Angeles - The brother of actor Mark Ruffalo has died one week after a seemingly unprovoked shooting, police said Tuesday. Scott Ruffalo, 39, died late Monday night at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles, according to Beverly Hills Police Sergeant Renato Moreno. He was shot in the head on December 1 outside his Los Angeles apartment.
A man and a woman wanted for questioning about the shooting surrendered to police Monday after being named as "persons of interest" in the crime.
Mark Ruffalo, star of films such as 13 Going on 30, Zodiac and You Can Count on Me, had been at his brother's bedside since the shooting. Scott is survived by his wife, Luzelena, and stepdaughter.
