Rome - Italian police have arrested 12 fans of Dinamo Zagreb on charges of vandalism ahead of UEFA Cup of their club later Wednesday at Italian side Udinese. The ANSA news agency reported that the Croat fans were arrested after vandalizing a rest station and may be banned from attending the game.
No further trouble was reported in Udine, a town in north-western Italy, where about 1,400 Croat fans are expected.
Udinese need a single point to qualify for the tournament's round of 32, while Dinamo are desperate for a win to progress.
