Mexico City - Seven dead bodies were found Tuesday in a suburb of Ciudad Juarez, in the northern Mexican state of Chihuahua, on the border with the United States. The bodies of the men were found side by side and all had received a definitive shot in the head, police said.
The dead appeared to have been taken to the site by force and showed signs of mistreatment. They appeared to have been killed overnight, and neighbours said they heard many shots overnight.
Ciudad Juarez is a border city that is a stronghold of drug dealers.
More than 4,000 people have been killed in Mexico so far this year in incidents linked to organized crime.
