Los Angeles - George Clooney will team up with up-and-coming actress Anna Kendrick in his new romantic comedy Up In The Air, Variety reported Monday. Clooney will star in the feature as a human resource professional who ignores the developing chaos in his life as he focuses on amassing his millionth frequent-flyer mile. Kendrick will play a businesswoman who keeps running into him in airports and hotels with romantic results.
The movie will be directed by Jason Reitman, whose previous work, Juno, was one of the most surprising hits of last year.

Gibson denies rumours of 900-million-dollar divorce
Los Angeles - Actor/director Mel Gibson has flatly denied rumours of a romance with a Russian singer that was alleged to have prompted a 900-million-dollar divorce action from his wife of 27 years, Robyn Moore.
The tabloid reports surfaced after Gibson was spotted twice with a 28-year-old Russian singer named Oksana.
A source told the National Enquirer, "It may turn out that Mel's friendship with the woman is innocent, but Robyn warned him that if he embarrassed her one more time, their marriage is dead and buried."
However the New York Daily News quoted a spokesperson for Gibson as saying that the rumors of divorce and infidelity are "100 per cent untrue."
Gibson and Moore have seven children, ages 9 to 28.

Washington and Kunis in action thriller
Los Angeles - Denzel Washington has picked Mila Kunis to co- star with him in a disturbing action thriller in which they team up to save humanity in a near-future America faced with catastrophe.
Kunis is a veteran of hit TV series That '70s Show and made her feature film debut in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Kunis most recently starred opposite Mark Wahlberg in Max Payne.
In the new movie, The Book of Eli Washington, she will portray a character who first tries to stop Washington's character from saving humanity but ultimately joins him in his quest.
