Rome - AC Milan lost ground from Serie A leaders Inter Milan late Sunday as Torino fought back to clinch a 2-2 draw after the Devils had managed to reverse a first-half deficit. Brazilians Pato and Ronaldinho, who is now Milan's best scorer on six goals, were on target for Milan after striker Roberto Stellone put the Turin hosts one up and before Alessandro Rosina levelled from the spot.

The class of the returning play maker Andrea Pirlo added to the feats of Kaka, Pato and Ronaldinho did little for Milan early in the game as Torino manoeuvred well in midfield and managed to take the lead on 25 minutes.

Stellone beat Christian Abbiati with a great header by the first post having the best of Georgian Kakha Kaladze on a precise cross that play maker Alessandro Rosina curled from the left.

Torino's Swiss midfielder Blerim Dzemaili earlier had tried two drives that flew high and wide, but the goal suddenly woke up the Devils, who reversed the score in the next 10 minutes.

Pato took care of equalizing on 29 minutes, flawlessly controlling a Gennaro Gattuso assist and stunning the helpless Matteo Sereni.

There was little to do for the Torino goalkeeper five minutes later when Ronaldinho drilled home a swerving free kick as Sereni vainly dove toward his left post.

A dangerous break from Pato on the left flank opened the hostilities after the break before Rolando Bianchi on 55 minutes came close with a good shot blocked by Abbiati.

Pato forced Sereni's deflection on 66 minutes as he again burst into the area, but a handball by Kaladze on 78 minutes allowed Rosina to convert a spot kick that set the score on 2-2.

Milan now have 27 points from 13 games and slipped three points behind Inter, who Saturday edged Juventus 1-0 to leave them six-point adrift next Napoli.
